I think, it is a long time never update my blog. Well reason being too busy again. Right now I am having a module called MOI Project 1. It is about production. Therefore at this current blog, I will be brainstorming a lot, regarding pre-production. Soon I will start off with production, shooting and acting maybe. Last until next block.

As long as we can complete in time, we will be able to do capturing and editing, thus my favorite stage, post-production. It would be stress when I reach there, because I expected a lot of unexpected editing skills and effects. Hopefully I can make one smooth and outstanding video with animation hence mix media.

ARTIST STATEMENT

This artwork captures the essence of the Singapore Film Festival. Placed at the center of this painting are the Singapore attractions, landscapes and buildings, which also form the design principle of harmony and rhythm. My main emphasis is on the film reel which was derived from the idea of the Ferris wheel in Singapore. It captures the past achievements made throughout the years, and the movement of film overlapping each other forms the rule of third, which makes this piece of artwork more interesting to look at. As for the art element, I used more vibrant, warm and cool colours to enhance the cheerful mood of the celebration. Red, Orange and Yellow represent cheerfulness and joy.

Well my PC infected virus once again. Get bad to worst. At first cannot do system recovery, now cannot even login because it will automatically logoff. It is the final day of 2D Art Fundamentals! Finally everything have come to an end. I was busy during the month of having both Introductory of Economics and 2D Art Fundaments, VERY STRESS. Artwork is a determination of time to do good job, business course is like a lot of theory to focus on, when both come together the thing you need is time. Off work for about 3 weeks and is equal to no pay for the next month.

Even though it was a hard for me, but I can say 2D Art Fundaments let me learnt a lot and gain beautiful portfolio. My final submission was a 1m x 1m painting. It was damn big for people like me never major in Art before. The theme for that assignment is Colourful Event.
