COMEX 2008

This time IT Show isn't as good as previous ar. There are many people, but the sale was taken away by most of the reseller or promoter due to the cut sale technique. Well no point angry with such thing because end up no action will be taken also, haiz...

The only thing I like was the Projector screen replace over the LCD screen, so much nicer and high tech.

Today we finally got a new Camera that replace over my old Nikon COOLPIX. Well at first thinking of getting a Canon IXUS 970 but end up chosen the Panasonic FX520 because of the HD Photo.

12 Lotus

It's movie time @ e-hub again. Well this time we watch the 12 Lotus from Singapore. I knew it will be a bit off for me as it is more suitable for my parents age where they understand much more. But being a film maker next time we should forget about their target audience and learn from the way people do things. Yes from this film, I can see a lot of nice shot and very artistic. Why it look so special, I guess it is because Royston Tan was once graduate as a Visual Communication student. Graphics and 3D were much more better than Jack Neo film.

Before the film, while waiting for my show to start. We went to play bowling and arcade, it was so fun only when you win. =X

Today working and level 2 having a JACOB'S roadshow. Above photo are the biggest Jacob's cracker ever in Singapore record book. Well not even the cracker was big, the speaker voice was also loud, very hard to communicate with my customer man... CRACK my sales too!

Photo @ Rowell Road & Chinatown

Final project for the Photography module. Street photo, topic I choose Old Folks working at their golden age. Together with my helpful friend, we went to Rowell Road to capture people collecting cardboard or cans. Well I am so amaze that Rowell Road have so many people having this activity. Soon when it is about time, we went to Chinatown.

Over Chinatown, there isn't much that I can capture, soon when we are about to give up, we saw a few of them pushing the trolley around the Buddha tooth temple. Well the people over Chinatown are much more friendly because they agreed to take photo for my project. But anyway, it is a sad case to see these people still working at this century.

The Love Guru

'Guru Guru...' By hearing this word, I can feel how funny this show will be. Before purchasing the ticket, I never think I will be watching this Love Guru, but due to the limited time slot for movie, I have no choice. In fact I am not paying for the movie, my friend treat me, lolx.

By looking at the poster, it remind me about Scary Movie, lame and stupid joke. The Love Guru was funny and making me laugh like a retard. Some part you don't even know what you are laughing about, so it make me even more retard. Overall it was a good show to cheer up yourself I think.

Money No Enough

Today a family outing for a movie at e-Hub, watching Money No Enough II. As my mom suggested to watch because her friends said very funny.

After watching the show I found it quite funny and sad. Showing how the youngsters treat their parents in Singapore or all over the world, I think it even add up stress for my parents only. You know, nowadays they think too much. At a few part, it was extremely funny.

In the middle of the show, I was disappointed as I couldn't feel the link of the show again, quite out of point. This happen quite a lot on Jack Neo film. But they still have a conclusion to cover up even though middle was quite corrupted.

The other think about the show was the 3D effect and model. Well confirm cannot fight with the other country yet, but as I see the flow of Jack Neo movies, I can feel the improvement. Although the 3D was quite fade with the colour combination, but end of the show, at the credit roll part, I see the model of Singapore Marina side I think. Is it really created by them? If yes, I think it was very good, a lot of hard work!

CHINATOWN

Finally I received my first assignment from photography class. Listing few area of location in Singapore for me to shot, and so I chosen Chinatown as I am much more familiar about.

Well taking photo under the sun isn't an easy task, tired easily. But I found something fun throughout, because it is all about your accomplishment.

In the night, I meet my from at Chinatown Point for dinner. Finally we have chance to walk in to this restaurant called Annalakshmi, where you 'Eat what you like Give as you feel'. Well the food (Vegetarian food) over there not bad and it really full your stomach.

Do try it at Chinatown Point Shopping Centre Basement 1, but please don't give money like $1. Because before we get our seat, there was an Indian guy took quite awhile during payment and decided to give $1 and walk off. Both of them are the same race yet they do something like this, no wonder the cashier said 'Do you think you can get the food you ate for $1 outside?'. So people, going there and eat also be reasonable.

Mom Birthday 2008

Well last weekend actually a photo frame drop from my wall to hit my MacBook keyboard which lead to keyboard damage. I am so bad mood and Monday when to service and understand I might need to pay a $380 for that. I was so worry about the sum, due to the renovation of bedroom but it was my luck I guess.

This morning they called me and told me my MacBook ready for collection and I am so surprise hearing that, so fast than before. And so I went down to Orchard to collect and it was a good news that I no need to pay anything because they escalate to Apple in Australia and because my under warranty, I am charged as free.

As I make my way to Orchard, I suddenly think of my Mom birthday. She didn't mention about her birthday and I also didn't wish her Happy Birthday. Therefore I remind my brothers and plan what to do to celebrate. In conclusion, we got the SK II special water and a cake for her. Spend a meaningful hundred over dollars than paying for $380.
