Today woke up and my brother said the new printer ran out of black ink. Wow...I was shock cause I yesterday just paid $93+ for it. This story came like this, yesterday after the camp we dismiss at around 4pm then I took MRT back to Tampines.

Then when I reach there, I feel hurry so I went to Tampines Mall B1 and buy Taiwan Crispy Chicken. On the way down, I saw Desmond selling Epson printer. So I got my food le then go find him. Asked about when the Epson roadshow going to come to our school cause I wanna buy printer at a student price much more cheaper. So he said maybe next year cause the management haven't approve.

So I asked him on the spot is there any good promotion happening and there is a $98 printer with 5760dpi and $9.90 for each ink cartridge. So I think for a long long time then I decided to buy it. It provide 3 colour ink with 2 black colour ink and 2 pack of 4R glossy photo paper. Additional 1 black ink cartridge and 5% discount as a friend relationship.

Well the printer was noisy and quite slow for my standard. Printing quality is good but since to eat away the ink fast. Just printed 2 document + 1 4R photo, you can see the ink chart half tank gone. Then today was all gone, NO INK LEFT. Wa....I quickly called him this morning and ask about it. Then he said oh one of the black ink cartridge was a tryout version. So KNS then free give equal to nothing lor and he only know how to laugh. d-,-b

Just came back from a 3 days 2 night camp at National Community Leadership Institute (NACLI). The camp was held by school under Life Skills department. I represented Student Council but actually is because of my NYAA record then I go. Haiz...my stupid committee chairman said until if you don't go you will not have anymore chance.

Anyway the camp was fun, good facility like chalet and 3 meal each day waiting for me cause buffet. Learnt alot about Leadership quality and teamwork.

During the second day of the camp, there was a Special Night and every group are suppose to perform on stage with the topic related to Leadership. So my group and I actually came out with an idea of advertisement with the title of "Only Listen The Good Stuff". Well it was a combination of skit and dance. And I step out for a dance, I have never dance since my K2(6 years old) which I don't know what am I doing. I really give out all I have man. Throw all my face le. Especially my stupid classmate Benjamin was watching!

On the third day which is today morning, we have a so call team bonding activity which was the most enjoyable out of all. There was 3 station and we completed it with helping one another. It really let me feel how important is teamwork. Below are the one of the station taken from the website of NACLI.

This morning went for the Master Series race at Bedok Reservoir. It was a uncomfortable boat experience with terrible seat. Well maybe too long never train with that boat. Last conclusion will be I might row left by today onwards.

Reaching school at about 8.20am. work on my lab sheet with my group members. Hmm....soon Mr Dino came into class and told us his lesson will be cancel. So the day will end with no school. Together my friends and I went to Tampines decided to watch movie but luckily I check out the training time for Dragon Boat. Then I know that the training will be sea and not 5pm but 3pm. So I quickly went home and change.

At 3pm we start training, the training I felt good as I got a kind of bonding feel. Might be we do everything together. Then for rowing, the right side were more than the left. So at last, I got to try rowing at the left side. Very uncomfortable, not use to it. Can't catch up during the fast recovery. Hope it won't be forever. Otherwise I will be like starting as a left rower then right rower and now left again.

Mr. Bean's Holiday

After the training, I went back and change to prepare for the movie "Mr Bean's Holiday" that I am watching with my friends. Ha...the movie was funny but some will say lame. In fact most people will say a funny thing lame. I don't mind it is stupid but at least it make me laugh.

Class Test, Grooming Course, Exchange Program

This morning after having my NMS Class Test, at 10am I went to a Grooming Course set by the Student Council. Well learnt alot of colours, basic skill and right words to say during interviewing. But due to my test, I actually miss the part where they teach us the right way of wearing cloth.

Soon at 3.30pm, I meet Veronica and together we went to Ang Mo Kio ITE for a meeting on the Student Exchange Program. Good news is that we don't have to pay any cash cause $1600 will be divide into 3 part. 2/3 will be paid by school and 1/3 will be from my edusave.

Out of all the Singapore student that are going for the Exchange Program, Veronica and I are the only 2 student study the course of MMT (Multimedia Technology), the rest are from the course of DMD (Digital Media Design). Don't know how I am going to work with them as I don't their standard of design. Anyway few years back, I actually wanna get into that course or Digital Animation but they don't have it in Simei Campus.

This afternoon got a call from Ms Medona my Class Advisor, told Veronica and I about a meeting with Course Manager about the Hong Kong trip. Meeting should start at 2.30pm, but end up due to the waiting period, we waited till 3pm. When both of us were inside the Staff room, we saw Mr Joel, the editor of the DMT book + last year Video Production teacher.

Haha....at first I decided to complain again due to last time I fail to because of me alone, not enough power. Here with Veronica help we tried to complain about the book is too much, many rubbish/repeat but end up we the one that were kana nag. Since like we are saying sorry sorry sorry to him. Haiz...

Soon the Course Manager arrived and we start the meeting. The Course Manager was so serious, even joke also so serious. Beside that, the teacher was quietly standing beside him. haha.... ... So scary. I was like smile smile throughout the whole meeting.

One of the topic was about the News paper. The Course Manager asked us about do we saw the news of the new intake of Poly? and we straight away answer NO. Well he said nowadays Secondary school student score well but don't want to go JC instead they go Poly. Which make the student in ITE hard to get in to Poly. So he told us we need to be strong in everything we done and present to the interviewer when it is our time.

Today no Dragon Boat training due to race. For this time, teacher only select the mix team to go for it and people include seniors. When to extend my passport with my father. Took us about 2 hours. Then when I reach home, no rest and continue with my projects....

Birthday Celebration

Once again, early in the morning went to Dragon Boat training. This time we end at 2pm. Wa....week after week increasing 30 minutes each time. Anyway race is coming, all the best ITE DB team!

Evening went to Marina Bay to celebrate Chor Hoong Birthday follow by the next day Birthday of Jun Hao. Well over here wish them the best and enjoy the 18 years old of freedom, while I have to wait till the September. -.-

Actually before going there, I meet Chor Hoong at the City Hall MRT station, but guess what I am late again lolx. So sorry la. Some time thing just happen like that. She waited for me about 30 minutes ba. Oops... ...

Great Opportunity But Encounter Many Problem

Today went to an interview about the Hong Kong Exchange Program Trip. Well it was on the 17 of June and my Dragon Boat China Trip is also on the 17 of June. Don't know which one to go. Although Hong Kong Trip will help me to get into my dream Poly closer but on the other hand, I felt sorry to my Dragon Boat people.

Even if I choose Hong Kong Trip, I might not have the guarantee of going there as they only choose 2 representative from my school, ITE College East. It is organise by the ITE West therefore 2 representative are chosen. It will be about 3D stuff.

The program go like this:

01 Apr to 07 Apr - HK students will be coming to Singapore
08 Apr to 10 Apr - Together we go Malaysia for KL Trip
17 Jun to 30 Jun - The HK Trip

The cost for the trip is $1600. Very expensive! If 50% of the sum was paid by my Edusave, I still got to pay $800 more. OMG~

ROADSHOW - Live Event Production

Well today my group members and I done our DMT Lab 5 - ROADSHOW (Live Event Production). Finish our recording and shooting of film. Hmm....it was fun! We actually learnt how to record sound from:

Dynamic Microphone --> Audio Mixer adjusting --> input into computer.

Each of us have our own role to play. Chor Hoong and Veronica as the Talents + Audio Mixing. They have to take turn as Chor Hoong got her MC part and Veronica got her singing part. Whoever are free will help in recording the voice.

Sea training once again, woke up early in the morning. Reach Bedok Reservoir before 9am. Ran up and down, more than 2.4km. Then carry the boat down and start our rowing. Today was ran less but row more. 500m by 500m with extra weight. It was so tired when you row the boat with extra weight that make the boat move bit by bit, very slow and make people feel like giving up. But we all know that we can't give up as it will carry down to race.

Well after rowing till 12pm+, teacher still don't let us off. Went to pull up station to do 3 set of 12 pull up. OMG!!! Hate pull up. After all those thing, it was already 1.30pm. Quickly went home and change to go Ms Soh House (my secondary teacher house).

Till 4pm still haven't reach her house, still inside the bus 3 to Puggol. When I align, problem was finding the right block. Stuck at block 174, in Chinese mean die together. Then walk for few minutes and asked a guy for direction. Soon the location was found.

Well it was a long time after I last saw my teacher in Hai Sing Catholic School. She was not teaching anymore and when to work in a company. Life is always changing, nowadays teaching was not that easy. Sitting together with my teacher and secondary schoolmate chatting. Bring me back to secondary school life. Notice how far we went. Hope that this kind of gathering will never end. Must keep in touch.

At night we went to Tampines Mall cinema and watch the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness". The show was actually recommend by my teacher. The show was telling us a life story. After a hard time then he got succeed in life. Before the booking of tickets, I already knew what kind of show it will be because this came from teacher recommendation. Lolx

Cousin Wedding

This evening went to my cousin wedding. Reach the Hotel Restaurant at around 7pm+. As my brothers were not able to attend due to some other thing, so I went there with my parents. After we get seated, I saw more relative arrived. It was about 8pm+, still haven't start, Singapore tradition.

Meeting relative also a chance of getting red packet. After all those smiling here and there, the wedding finally start.

Well the food was nice. Except the last 3 plate. Heee.... But the environment was classic with the Jpop song I remember. Overall was great. Wishing them all the Best and Happiness.
